I love this watch. I finally spent the few extra bucks to get a Fossil watch (spent about $60) because my husband wears one and it has lastest over 10 years. This is great. It is small enough to work well for me – both work and dress. The crystal doesn’t scratch. This was my biggest complaint with other watches. I am constantly doing something and my watches take a beating. I need one that looks good and holds up. You can see the hands in the dark, just not easily. But it’s good enough for me. I like the date feature, too. Simple, but effective. Hopefully, mine will last as long as my husbands.

I always have loved Fossil products, and this watch is no exception. I got it to replace my old leather Fossil watch, which I have had for 7 or 8 years now. I wear it in the shower and everything, plus I work in medicine so I am washing my hands constantly, and the band has stood up to all the water wear and tear perfectly (on my old watch). This new watch seems just as great in quality. One thing I will say though- if you have very large wrists the band may seem incredibly small on you (it will fit around your wrist, it’s just very very thin and you may want to try it on in a store first to see if you like it).

I would give this watch a higher rating except for these things:
1. Although the hands have fluorescent color on them, they’re too small to see at night because the face is too small and there is too little color on the hands. Big negative as I want to see the watch at night, in a theater, while at home watching movies, etc. This is a major negative because I only bought it because it had the florescent colors on the hands. I figured this would work fine, instead of a back-light. It didn’t.
2. The strap seems flimsy and probably won’t last long.
3. The watch is much smaller than I thought it would be.
Outside of those things I like the watch and have not found another better one to exchange it for, although we went to the Fossil store and looked. It’s a very nice color.
