Do not buy this watch,
Approx. one week after buying this watch it stopped because water leaked into it after swimming with it on. (It is water resistant to 330 feet which is supposed to be suitable for swimming). After returning the watch (at my expense) I am now being hassled by Armitron’s so called authorized service station (The Time Machine in CA)claiming “physical damage”. And to add insult to injury they want $31.60 to fix a $18.00 watch! If you buy an Armitron watch assume it to be an “as is” sale because their “warranty” isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.

|Fits My Requirements,
I received this watch as a Father’s Day gift. I told my daughter I needed an everyday watch that I could read in water or out and had at least one alarm. I did not want her to pay too much for it. This watch fit my requirements and more. It’s face is quite large and it’s display did not disapoint. Time numerals are over 1/4″ high and Day/Date is about 3/16″ and is easy to read at arms length. The red part of the case is annodized and makes the watch look more expensive than it really is. As long as it keeps time, I will continue to recommend this watch.

|One of the best sports watches I have owned,
This is likely the best sports watch I have owned for its price (I paid $15 in a Target sale.) I have used it daily for two years, use it in shower, use it in heavy rain (a lot of soccer refereeing events), bang it daily all over the place! It has withstood the test of time…battery still works. The controls are easy to use and reset, the digital readout is gigantic, and the rubber band has not shown a single scratch or nick! It also looks quite good (I have the one with the red tone, but there is also a green-tone one). Highly recommended for its price.
